FAQ’s

What does Goode Elite Prep look for in a student-athlete?

Goode Elite Prep looks for student-athletes who have a strong commitment to academics, athletics and personal growth. Student-athletes must be diligent in their school and sport community duties, with a willingness to give their all in every area.

How good do I have to be at my sport?

Past athletic performance is a determining factor for acceptance. Most importantly, all prospective student-athletes are required to have a demonstrated passion for their sport and a motivation to reach their full potential, along with realistic expectations for future college opportunities. Goode Elite Prep does not guarantee you will get to a NCAA Division 1, 2.3 or NAIA school. We believe philosophically this will be the student-athlete’s personal determining factor of success. We believe that student-athletes should vigorously pursue being the best version of themselves each day and understand that collegiate opportunities (or lack thereof) will match their demonstrated abilities and skill sets on and off the field or court.

What are the academic requirements for admission?

The academic profile necessary for admission varies from year to year. As a general rule of thumb, we are seeking student-athletes who have at least a 2.0 GPA and met the minimum standards for qualification through our partnership schools.
